Conflicts of Interest
Last updated: 9 June 2026 · Reviewed annually
Sawadi Ventures FZCO invests on a proprietary basis and is not licensed or regulated by any authority. This policy sets out voluntary standards we hold ourselves to; it does not create third-party rights.
A conflict of interest arises where personal, financial or other interests could improperly influence — or appear to influence — a decision taken on behalf of Sawadi Ventures or its partners. As a firm that operates across multiple verticals and relationships, we take the identification and management of conflicts seriously.
Our approach
- Identify — we assess potential conflicts before entering a transaction or relationship, including conflicts between the firm, its principals, its partners and counterparties.
- Disclose — material conflicts are disclosed to those affected, to the extent permitted by confidentiality obligations.
- Manage or avoid — we manage conflicts through information barriers, recusal, independent review or, where a conflict cannot be adequately managed, by declining to proceed.
- Record — material conflicts and the steps taken to address them are recorded and periodically reviewed.
Personal investments, outside positions and gifts or hospitality that could affect objectivity are subject to internal review. Questions may be raised with administration@sawadiventures.com.
